Bill Hansen Broker/Owner
Selling real estate has given Bill the opportunity to combine his business, marketing, and negotiation expertise with his deep knowledge and love of the lakes area.
Growing up in Longville, Bill became very familiar with area lakes and acreages while fishing, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors. After graduating from UMD with a degree in business marketing, Bill then worked for Cargill for 10 years as a commodity trader. While working as a trader for Cargill, he lived in many places across the U.S., including Ohio, Colorado, Kansas City, and Minnetonka.
In 1998, Bill, along with his wife, Laura, moved back to Longville to work in the family real estate business.

Laura Hansen Broker/Manager
Laura grew up in Wayzata and Howard Lake, Minnesota, graduated from Carleton College, and also worked for Cargill as a grain trader, and then later, as an attorney. In 1998, Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and practiced law for five years before joining the family real estate business. She enjoys using her experience in business and law to manage the two Bill Hansen Realty offices.
Laura is also very active in the community as a member of the Longville Lakes Clinic Board, Cass County Economic Development Corporation Board, GLAD Trails Committee, and other community projects. In 2009, Laura completed the Blandin Community Leadership Program, and she is past-President of the Longville Area Community Foundation. Laura enjoys skiing, walking, boating, & keeping the kids happy.

Bill Hansen Sr. Founder
In 1962 Bill, Sr. and his wife, Bonnie, purchased their first cabin on Lake Inguadona. At the time they were teachers in Princeton, Minnesota so they were able to spend long summers at the lake. They enjoyed the area so much that one summer they decided not to leave! That was the summer of 1977, when Bill, Sr. opened up Bill Hansen Realty for business.
Bill, Sr. has worked hard over the past three decades to build a very successful real estate firm, and he still remains active in the business today. Clients and friends have come to rely on him for real estate, business and other advice over the years.

Dick Anderson Agent
Dick Anderson has been enjoying the Longville/Hackensack lakes area for the past 35 years and selling real estate for the past 15 years. Dick grew up in St. Peter, Minnesota where he graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College. He moved to the Twin Cities and then lived in Princeton for 23 years. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, he is very familiar with the character of the lakes and properties in the area and the amenities they have to offer.
Dick and Cathy live on Lake Inguadona and enjoy fishing, cross-country skiing, swimming, gardening, and spending time in the woods. You might see them on thier dock by the BBQ enjoying some local fish and game with friends during the summer or chasing panfish on the ice in the winter.

Jim Garner Agent
Most people think of Frosty's Ice Cream Parlor when they see Jim Garner. Jim and his wife, Lois, owned Frosty's, a favorite spot in Longville for pizza and ice cream, for over 11 years. Jim is also a true "hometown boy". After graduating from Longville High School, Jim attended the University of Minnesota, and then worked in the banking business for 23 years at Norwest and Marquette Banks.
Jim and Lois live on Long Lake and enjoy fixing up their lake properties. They own two cabins on Girl Lake that they rent out to people vacationing in the area. Jim is a past president of the Longville Chamber of Commerce and also enjoys hiking, swimming, pan-fishing, and golf -- both here and in Venice, Florida where he and Lois spend some of the winter months.

Jennifer Harmon Agent
A native of California, Jennifer Harmon attended high school and college in Southern California. She has been selling real estate in the Hackensack/Longville area since the 1980's. The Jennifer Harmon/Cheryl Hoff real estate team has built an extensive network of clients, and they thoroughly enjoy finding the right buyer for those looking to sell their lake country property.

Cheryl Hoff grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended college at the University of Arizona, Tucson and the University of Minnesota where she earned a B.S. Cheryl has been a longtime resident of Woman Lake where she and her husband ran Lantern Bay Lodge for 13 years.
Cheryl has been selling real estate in the Hackensack/Longville area for over two decades. Prior to joining Bill Hansen Realty in 1998, Cheryl owned her own real estate firm. Norris Krause Agent
Norris Kraus, an Iowa native, has been a longtime resident and business owner in the Longville area. In 1968, he purchased Little Ponderosa Resort on Wabedo Lake, and in 1974, he opened up Treasure House Antiques which is now located in the old Salem Lutheran Church building.
Norris has been selling real estate since 1985. Many of his past resort customers have become real estate clients and bought property in the area. When he's not selling real estate, Norris enjoys buying & selling antiques, traveling, watching the stock market, and frequenting a casino or two.

Dave Schneider joined Bill Hansen Realty in 2001 when he happily gave up his desk job at 3M where he had been a 'number-cruncher' for 29 years. Growing up in New Ulm, Dave spent time as a kid fishing and playing baseball. Dave served in the U.S. Army after high school, and he graduated from Mankato State with a degree in Finance. He then went to work for 3M in the accounting & finance department.
Dave enjoys his new career in real estate because he can spend more time in the great outdoors helping people reach their dream of lake property ownership. Dave and his wife Karla enjoy lake living and all the activities that the northland offers. He has become involved with his local lake association and the Hackensack Chamber of Commerce.

Dick Tabaka Agent
Dick is another 'hometown boy' who grew up in Longville on the south shore of Woman Lake. After graduating from St. John's Prep, Dick earned a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas and then returned to Pine River where he raised his family and owned and operated local businesses. Dick has worked in real estate development and sales since 1984, and he's also been an active member of the community serving on the school board, as church council president, and as a little league coach.
When he's not selling real estate, Dick loves to duck hunt & fish in the area and further up north in Canada. He and his wife also enjoy traveling to Boston to watch their daughter compete in rowing on the college team and traveling to Colorado to ski with their son.

In 1990 Melanie Ginos-Deegan experienced her first summer in northern Minnesota when her parents bought a resort on Man Lake. She grew up in the Twin Cities but spent every summer at the resort.
